Ministry Report: Bogota, Colombia May 2024

We are overjoyed to share with you the report from our recent ministry trip to Bogota. Chrissy and I got in early Sunday morning, and ministered at a key leader's church later that morning. In that flock of about 60 believers we saw Jesus heal 20, and bring 6 emotional healings. 

On Tuesday night Chrissy ministered emotional healing and healing from trauma at another church (about 35 present, and some online), and we saw Jesus heal about 25 hearts from injury and brokenness, and 2 physical healings. 

On Wednesday night we ministered to another church - there were about 60 precious souls present. This was my first time ministering on the compassion of Jesus, and frankly, it felt hard. I struggled through it. However, the Lord Jesus had bigger plans. We saw 12 physical healings and 7 emotional healings, including arthritic pain, pain from lupus, a back injury completely healed, a hand injury healed, and most mind-blowing healing (to me). A man was there, older, in a wheelchair, uncared for and unwashed, hands black with dirt, nails overgrown, one leg lost to gangrene from diabetes, and 30 years prior lost almost all his sight to diabetes. Could only see black, and shadows. At his request we prayed for his eyesight. He said it improved a tiny bit. Then when we went to pray again, instead of placing a few fingers in his palms like I normally would, I felt to hold his hand, and to rest my cheek against his forehead. Then something powerful happened. I felt the compassion of Jesus wash over him, me and Ricardo, my dear friend and translator, and who along with his wife Mafe, are our in-country ministry partners. Jesus' love overwhelmed me. Then after just a handful of seconds we backed up and asked him what was happening. He exclaimed, "I can see! I can see you. I cannot make out the details of your faces, but I can see! You guys do good things!" I wept, and quoted Acts 10:38, telling the group, Jesus went about doing good and healing all!

On Thursday the conference started, Maribel joined us. And our ministry team of 30 local pastors and spiritual leaders, whom Chrissy and I have been training online for about 8 weeks, also joined us. We know that a move of God in Colombia needs equipped spiritual leaders in country to extend the training and the equipping. And this team greatly helped carry our prayer ministry workload. About 200 on average were in attendance. With the intent of following Global Awakening’s model, we trained them on the 5-step prayer model (me), how to hear from God (Maribel), their identity in Christ (me), and their authority in Christ (Chrissy). We saw 15 physical healings that morning and 3 emotional healings (these often involve deliverances).

On Friday Chrissy taught on words of knowledge, and sent those gathered out to a lunch-time treasure hunt. We found out later than a camera-woman on the media team had her leg grow out while Chrissy was teaching. Many other powerful things happened, most notable was a man getting healed, telling his son, his son getting prayed for and later after Chrissy, Ricardo, and Mafe left him, called Ricardo to tell him something happened - he felt a power go into his kidneys. He brought his wife and two kids and his in-laws to the service that night. Chrissy prayed for his wife and she was healed of very painful arthritis which she had for many years (they looked to be in their early 40's), and she wept with joy. The daughter was hard, but when Chrissy offered to pray for her she softened, the presence of Jesus washed over her, and she decided to receive Jesus. This family was rocked by God. That afternoon I taught on prophetic values and protocols (content we are learning from Dan McCullum’s Prophetic Company), and that night Maribel ministered on impartation. We saw well over 60 people get completely blasted by the Holy Spirit. Before the evening service started, Ricardo brought a woman to me who had 2 detached retinas, had very poor vision in one eye, and could only see the color gray out of the other. The World's Leading Opthamologist, Jesus the Great Physician, healed her eyesight, and she could see clearly to about 18 feet! We all wept and thanked God. 

On Saturday I activated those gathered in the prophetic with a series of exercises, then Chrissy taught on emotional healing. At the end of that session, about 30 came forward in response to her invitation regarding those who suffered from their own parents. She offered a mother's blessing, and called me up to offer a father's blessing, and the love and compassion of God flooded that sanctuary. Everyone but one man up front was weeping. God's healing of hearts flowed. Then Chrissy trained on how to minister deliverance. We wrapped the afternoon with a Q&A session, with the pastors and Maribel joining us in responding to questions. Saturday night I ministered on Jesus' healing power and we watched Him heal completely 50 that we know of (we stick with conservative numbers when not completely certain). 

On Sunday we ministered at the same church that graciously hosted the conference. I spoke on the compassion of Jesus. We watched Him heal 75 people (including 10 online), and including 3 of eye problems in the corporate prayer. A 5-year old who had glasses since birth no longer needed them. An elderly lady who had extreme light sensitivity and problems with her left eye after surgery, was completely healed. A young lady who could only see colors, no details, out of her left eye, could read the numbers on the clock at the back of the church 70 feet from where she stood (you can watch these testimonies and a few others here: https://www.youtube.com/live/EhZz0rLWtWA?si=Dor0ppCvwD1-Kgb4 ). 

After the video ended we continued to pray for people. The pastor’s sister who was watching online, drove to church, and he brought her to me for prayer for her right eye, which had two big vertical scars on the lens, and a detached retina, and she could see little out of it. Then Jesus healed her eye! We wept with joy and awe. Then another lady who had glaucoma in her right eye was behind her in line for prayer. She could only see out of a pinhole in that eye. And again, Jesus healed her, and we wept. 

We cannot tell all that happened without writing a novella. God’s powerful works in this conference frankly have left us different than when we came, in so many good ways, which we are still processing.
